Founded in 1894, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious clubs in the country, with a rich golf history and family connections to the local community that spans generations.

THE CLUBHOUSE - In 2016, HGCC celebrated 100 years in Ancaster, where members have enjoyed the pleasure of playing the game over 27 holes on what was originally known as, “The Grange” farm. The current clubhouse opened in 1929 and is a historical icon in Canadian golf that continues to be thoughtfully upgraded with modern amenities to create an ambiance second to none.

THE WINE CELLAR - With a sommelier on staff, our members enjoy the benefits of an extensive wine cellar of both new and Old World wines from local Niagara vintners to international labels. The club also offers a popular temperature controlled wine locker program for those who enjoy collecting, savouring and enjoying their favourite wines over time.
