Pat Wilmot

Associate Professional

Pat was born and raised in Calgary where he began playing golf at a very young age.  Pat spent his summers at Bearspaw Country Club, while playing hockey during the winter in the Northwest part of the city.  His early love for golf came while on the course where he would caddy for his father on weekend mornings until he was old enough to play on his own or with his friends.  Pat’s passion for golf continued into his work life, when he began working at the golf course at the age of 15.  He worked at Bearspaw for 17 years where he started his employment working for the Member Services team.  He gradually made his way to the Golf Shop, where he decided to pursue his education in Professional Golf Management at Lethbridge College.  He earned his PGA card in 2006 and through promotion, earned the position as Head Associate Professional in 2015.  Pat’s dedication to the business is focused on member services and culture within the club and the team while creating exceptional experiences for every member and their guests. Pat’s teaching experience ranges through all levels of golfers, with a passion for the Biomechanics of the golf swing while having his students relate to similar every day motions.
