At Carleton Golf & Yacht Club, our PGA of Canada Professionals provide instruction designed to help golfers of all ages and skill levels improve their game. Whether you are new to golf, looking to build a stronger foundation, or hoping to fine-tune specific areas of your game, our Professional Staff will help you develop skills in a fun, enjoyable, and rewarding environment.
Our teaching philosophy focuses on the process, not just the outcome. By developing sound fundamentals, improving awareness, and understanding how different parts of the game connect, golfers can build confidence and enjoy greater success on the course.

Professional Staff
Instruction at Carleton Golf & Yacht Club is led by our three golf professionals, all of whom are proud PGA of Canada members. Whether you are looking for individual attention, a shared learning environment, group instruction, or on-course coaching, our Professional Staff offers a variety of lesson options designed to support golfers of all ages and abilities.
- Private Lessons: One-on-one instruction with a PGA of Canada professional, ideal for golfers looking for personalized feedback, focused improvement, and a lesson plan tailored to their individual goals.
- Semi-Private Lessons: A great option for 2-3 students who would like to learn together while still receiving individual coaching and attention from their instructor.
- Group Lessons: Available for groups of 4-8 golfers, with a general focus on fundamentals, skill development, confidence, and creating an enjoyable learning environment.
- On-Course Lessons: A coach rides along or plays 9 holes with a student to observe decision-making, tee box strategy, pre-shot routines, mental approach, target selection, and overall course management.
Scott McInroy is the Head Golf Professional at Carleton Golf & Yacht Club and a PGA of Canada professional with nearly 20 years of golf industry experience. He has held leadership roles at respected private and public facilities, developing a strong background in member service, golf operations, retail management, tournament coordination, instruction, and player development. Known for his approachable style, Scott is passionate about creating a welcoming club environment, supporting members, enhancing the golf experience, and helping golfers of all ages and abilities enjoy the game.
Nolan Reynolds is an Assistant Golf Professional at Carleton Golf & Yacht Club and a graduate of Georgian College's Business Administration Golf Management program. Originally from North Bay, Ontario, Nolan began playing golf at a young age and developed his passion while working at his local club. He supports Carleton's junior program, league play, tournaments, coaching, and member activities. Known for his energy and enthusiasm, Nolan is passionate about growing junior golf, supporting members, enhancing the golf experience, and helping golfers enjoy the game each season.
Cameron Gall is a PGA of Canada Class A professional and has worked in the golf industry since 2002. He holds an Honours Bachelor's Degree with a specialization in Kinesiology from Western University and a graduate diploma in Golf Operations Management from the Golf Management Institute of Canada. Cameron has extensive experience in golf instruction, event management, financial administration, member service, and guest experience. Known for his leadership, Cameron is committed to creating a positive impact for Carleton's membership and supporting the entire club community.
